FRIDAY BEER EVENT
Local brewery features exclusive new beer, 12 hours of brewery tours
MILWAUKEE (November 13, 2012) – Lakefront Brewery, Inc. will introduce Black
Friday, their new imperial India-style black ale on Friday, November 23. It marks
Lakefront’s first undertaking in selling an exclusive beer only available for purchase at
the brewery for one day.
The beer will go on sale at 8:00 AM at the brewery, located on Commerce Street. The
beer debuts in conjunction with Lakefront’s second annual Black Friday festivities, which
will feature 12 hours of continuous brewery tours.
Lakefront’s Marketing Director, Chris Johnson, stated, “We know people want to get up
early and find the one-day-only, exclusive deals on Black Friday, and we wanted to offer
our customers an exclusive beer worthy of getting up early.” Johnson went on to describe
the beer as “a huge, dark ale, about 10% [alcohol by volume], with ample pine and citrus
aromas.”
Brewery Hospitality Director, Jessica Koehler, said, “along with the exclusive beer and
tours, the first 300 people that buy the beer will get a limited ‘Black Friday’ pint glass.”
Koehler noted interested patrons should read the full details on the brewery’s Black
Friday website, blackfridaybeer.com. She also noted that patrons can buy advanced
brewery tour tickets online via the brewery’s website if they want a guaranteed spot on a
specific tour.
“Because this beer is so limited, we expect demand to be high for people to buy the
ultimate beer gift for their friends and relatives. This will be the go-to gift for the beer
lover,” Koehler finished.
Lakefront Brewery, Inc. was started in 1987 and is celebrating its 25th anniversary in
December of this year. The brewery distributes its products to 35 states, Israel and
